Hi Peter,
what they are saying is to figure out the so called K value.
The k value is important to find out the right speedometer.
In this case the Savage speedometer is driven by the gearbox.
So take off the cable at the original speedometer, fasten a
clip or something similar to it and turn the "back" wheel 10 times.
Count the rotations the cable is making during this time.
Take this value times 10 and devide by the circumference of the
back wheel in cm. And voila is your k value.
